Andrea Ferancová - Partner & Director
Ms. Ferancová joined Wood & Company in 1996 and is now the director of the firm's trading and sales activities. Primary responsibilities lie in the brokerage activities of both domestic equities to foreign clients and the sales of Central European equities to domestic clients. She has garnered extensive experience via her successful development and application of the firm's regional growth by advising and training trading and sales staff. Ms. Ferancová is also extensively involved in the firm's FX trading for clients.
Jan Sýkora - Partner & Director
Mr. Sýkora has management responsibility for the Czech Republic operations of Wood & Company and has been with the company since 1994. He is responsible for regional sales coverage of the firm's continental clientele and manages Wood & Co.'s new products and services activities, including the introduction of foreign securities and derivative products to the Czech market, securities borrowing and lending. Last but not least, he is also a supervisory member of the corporate finance team. Board member, Prague Stock Exchange; former business consultant to Ameritech International; previously junior consultant to the World Bank.
Vladimir Jaroš - Partner & Director
Mr. Jaroš has been with Wood & Company since 1994. In 1997 he took on the responsibilities for building up and managing the firm's corporate finance business, starting with transactions in the telecoms, banking, construction and utilities sectors. Previously he was responsible for the development and coordination of all regional research activities of Wood & Co. Mr. Jaroš also has in-depth knowledge of the region's capital markets and their legislative framework. Before joining Wood & Co., he was employed at Živnostenská banka as an analyst on the corporate finance team.
Lubomir Šoltýs - Partner & Director
Mr. Šoltýs has worked with Wood & Company since 1996 and has been responsible for covering companies in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. Today his primary responsibility lies in the firm's Slovak activities, but he also provides necessary support to other members of the corporate finance team, especially with respect to transactions in the utilities sector. His most extensive experience is in the regional utility sector focusing on gas, oil and electricity production and its transmission and distribution.
