Wood & Company closes Polish Business. Warsaw, 26 September 2001

Wood & Company , the brokerage firm, has announced the closure of its subsidiary in Warsaw.   This is a continuing part of the restructuring process which was first announced in March.  “We had hoped that the Warsaw office would enjoy the same success as the Czech business which became economically independent from May 1.   However, the Polish office has not achieved profitably and therefore we have taken the decision to close” said Richard Wood.

“Needless to say, we cooperate closely with the Polish Securities Commission to ensure a smooth closure that does not inconvenience our clients”, said Wood.
